Attractions In Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura boasts the finest beaches in the Canaries, with white sand that stretches across most of its coastline. Like its neighboring islands, Fuerteventura is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, known not only for its sandy beaches – El Cotillo and Playa de Cofete in particular – but also for its sun-kissed dunes, glistening by the northeast coast of the island, in Corralejo Natural Park. Let the children splash themselves silly at the Aqua Park, show them hundreds of colourful cacti at the Cactus Garden, or take them to the camel safari, sea lions show, falconry display and many other attractions at the Oasis Park in La Lajita, flanked by rows of palm trees and bold fuscia flowers. Head over to Puerto del Rosario to pick out your catamaran, speedboat, private charter or private tour boat that strikes your fancy, or travel to El Cotillo in the northwest, where there's surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing galore. Enjoy all these wonderful activities at leisure, with quick and convenient car rental in Fuerteventura.

Places To Visit Outside Fuerteventura

There's fun to be had on all of the islands in the archipelago, and a Fuerteventura car rental is the best way to make the most of every moment. Enjoy an afternoon on the secluded satellite islet in the north, Isla de Lobos, when you book a glass-bottom boat ride from Corralejo. Board a ferry to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote, and spend a day on the lava-shrouded island that César Manrique called home. Visit the artist's museum and try to spot all his colourful windmills across the island. Take your car on the ferry or drop it where it suits you best, because we'll offer you another one in a flash in any of our other Enterprise branches in Tenerife, La Gomera and La Palma.

Parking And Traffic Information In Fuerteventura

There's no easier way to explore the island than car rental in Fuerteventura. The driving rules here are similar to those on the continent, where 60 mph and 30 mph speed limits apply on dual carriageways and in built-up areas, respectively. Traffic is generally light here, except for the busier streets in Puerto del Rosario, Caleta de Fuste, Morro Jable and Corralejo. White painted bays are free to use, but parking in yellow bays is restricted. Pay and display areas are indicated by blue painted bays. As in continental Spain, cars must use the right side of the road. Please note that wearing flip-flops at the wheel is strictly prohibited.
