Chișinău International Airport (KIV) Car Rental

There will be an additional charge of 20 EUR per rental plus VAT for each additional driver. Full rental conditions apply to additional drivers. 

Customers must confirm at the time of reservation pick up and return time to ensure the rental counter will be manned to   service after hours reservations at the communicated times. Please park the rental vehicle in the Airport parking facility in the rent a car places. The Airport parking is on the ground floor. There are no levels.

All renters must be between the ages of 21 - 75 for all car groups.  Renters between the ages of 21 and 24 will be charged a young driver fee of 3 EUR per day.

CROSS BORDER POLICY – Cross border rentals are allowed within the European countries and the continental part of Turkey.  A prior written authorization is required and an insurance fee will apply. The guarantee is equal to the buying value of the rented car. This type of rental is recommended to be requested at least 7 working days prior to the rental pickup date. The minimum time for the publication of a green card is up to 1 working day depending on the insurance company.  The green card covers the rental vehicle with supplemental liability insurance – TPI as long as the vehicle remains within the borders of the country/countries for which the card is issued.  The fee for Cross Border Travel ranges between 50 and 130 EUR plus Tax per rental depending on car group and destinations.

Collision Damage Waiver - CDW is an optional coverage product which reduces the customers financial responsibility in cases of damage to the rental vehicle or fire to the excess-deductible amount. CDW does not provide any coverage for damages to the underside of the vehicle, interior of vehicle-saloon, windshields, mirrors or tires. The customer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle if this coverage product is not purchased.  A police report must be presented to the rental company in the event of an accident. Without a police report the customer is fully liable for all damages. The customer assumes full responsibility if the cause of damage is due to any infringement of the road circulation code.  The daily charge and deductible amount for CDW varies by car class category.  Charges by car group -  Mini - MDMR, Economy - EDMR,  7 EUR per day with a deductible of 400 EUR, Compact - CDMR, CWMR  7 EUR per day with a deductible of 400 EUR, Compact Automatic - CDAR, Intermediate - IDMR 8 EUR per day with a deductible of 500 EUR, Compact Automatic Wagon - CWAR 8 EUR per day with a deductible of 700 EUR, Standard SUV - SFMR 14 EUR per day with a deductible of 800 EUR, Standard Van - SVMR 18 EUR per day with a deductible of 800 EUR. All rates do not include VAT.

Domestic one ways are available for all Enterprise locations within Moldova for all rentals.  An additional fee of 50 EUR plus VAT per rental will apply for all car groups.

Full to full. All vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank the difference will be charged according to the official rate of Enterprise Rent A Car Moldova. Fees for refueling services also apply at a rate of 2.00 EUR per liter plus a 50.00 EUR service charge. 

During the winter season of 1 November to 31 March and in cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Moldova all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.

For each rental a credit card (AMEX, MasterCard or VISA) in the renter’s name is required. At the time of rental a deposit will be taken that varies by car category. Mini - MDMR, Economy - EDMR 700 EUR, Compact manual - CDMR, CWMR 800 EUR, Compact automatic - CDAR, CWAR, Intermediate - IDMR 1,000 EUR and Standard -SFMR, SVMR 1200 EUR.  Debit cards, cash, cash card – Maestro, E.G. Electron many not be used for deposit payment. Cash and debit cards are accepted for the payment of the rental with a supporting credit card upon the rental return.

Roadside service is available 24-7 within the country of Moldova.  This assistance is free of charge as long as the customer was not at fault or in breach of rental conditions.  In the event the customer is at fault or in breach of rental conditions, then the customer will be charged .35 EUR per km for roadside service. 

All drivers must present a valid International or European Union driving license that has been held for a minimum of 12 months along with an identity card or passport. 

SLP Supplementary Liability Protection - third party liability insurance is required by law, free of charge and included in all rates. Coverage limits - third party bodily injury or death up to 5,000,000 EUR and third party property damage 1,000,000 EUR.
