Directions from Terminal

After clearing customs, exit the airport building and take a left. Follow the pedestrian signage to the car rental counters. The rental counter is located in the second unit from the left.

Rental Policies

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. All additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. All additional drivers must sign the rental agreement. The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location. The additional driver fee is 6.00 USD per day.                                         

48 hours notice period, MLR 3 days.

The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23 and there is no maximum rental age. Drivers between the ages of 23 and 24 will incur an additional fee of 6.00 USD per day.                    

Driving restricted within the Island of Bonaire only.

Delivery and collection not available. Customer can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off of the vehicle in advance and is only available for rentals of 3 days or longer at free of charge. Pick-up or drop off to hotel, must document in the remarks field of the reservation, the pick-up or drop off site including accommodation name.                   

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.. One way reservations are allowed at all locations without additional fees.

Collision Damage Waiver with Theft Protection (CDW-TP)  is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW-TP, to contractually waive your responsibility for the cost of damage to or theft of the vehicle, after the 500.00 USD deductible. CDW-TP does not cover damage to tires.

If CDW-TP is declined, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.

Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Bonaire do not provide coverage in Bonaire. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. The customer should contact their insurance company in advance of the pickup date for the rental with any questions regarding their specific coverage.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. 

Option 2- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replace. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50 percent surcharge will apply.

Option 3- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.

Credit Cards honored: MasterCard®, VISA®, American Express®, Discover®

An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 500.00 USD plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.

Debit/Check cards are not accepted at this location.Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card.

Cash is not accepted at this location.

 

All drivers must meet the locations minimum age requirements. Renters must present a major credit card in renters name at the time of rental. All drivers must present a valid drivers license from country of origin. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Roman, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Roman, an international drivers permit is required or a notarized English translation required.                                            

Third Party Liability (TPL) is not insurance and is included in the Time and Mileage rate. TPL covers damages and injuries to third parties under the local rental car company's insurance, and provides you with liability coverage for all accident-related expenses pertaining to passengers of a third party vehicle and for damages to third party vehicles, up to the policy limits, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL.

The cost of a rental car depends on many factors and can vary greatly. These factors include:

  • The length of time you are renting the car
  • Car class selected
  • Rental location
  • Added insurance or protection products
  • Additional products selected
  • If you have to modify your reservation
  • If you have to extend your reservation
  • If you have to change your rental drop-off location

To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:

  • To be 25 years old 
  • A valid driver's license with a photo
  • A photo ID (For example: a driver’s license or passport)
  • Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you’re renting from)

Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to: 

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the license is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK.

Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.

Fuel Policy at Airport Car Rental Locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel -- Pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • Pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of gas minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
