Directions from Terminal
Follow signs to the baggage claim area and through customs. Walk to passenger exit and proceed to the National counter 1 in the arrival hall to obtain your rental agreement. An agent will take you to the National rental facility to obtain your vehicle keys.
Rental Policies
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.
The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.
Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 18, and no maximum rental age.
Drivers between the ages of 18 and 21 will incur an additional daily fee.
Driving restricted within the island of St. Maarten only
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. You may purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW, to contractually waive your responsibility for the cost of damage to or theft of the vehicle.
A deductible of $1000 USD applies to Economy to Standard size vehicles and $1500 USD to Fullsize and larger. If CDW is declined, renter is responsible for the full value of damage to the vehicle.
Customer must pre-arrange delivery or collection of vehicle by calling the location 24 hrs in advance.
Delivery/Collection is available at no additional cost for 0-2 miles.
Delivery/Collection is available at a cost of $25.00 USD for 2 miles and beyond.
One way rentals are not available in St Maarten.
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.
Option 2- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
Credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.
Credit Cards Honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®
An authorization in the amount of $1000 USD may be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.
Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club®, Discover® logo. Debit/Check cards are not accepted at this location.
Cash is not accepted at this location.
Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.
Present a valid driver's license from country of origin.
Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.
International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License.
Third Party Liability (TPL) is not insurance. The purchase of TPL is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection. TPL provides you with liability coverage for all accident-related expenses pertaining third parties and for damages to third party vehicles, up to the policy limits, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL.
Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside St. Maarten do not provide coverage in St. Maarten. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. The customer should contact their insurance company in advance of the pickup date for the rental with any questions regarding their specific coverage.
