From the baggage claim area exit customs and turn left towards the car rentals area. Walk 300 feet on the sidewalk to the Enterprise Building. Upon arrival to the facility, please proceed to the rental counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys.

Rental Policies

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and the maximum rental age is 70 years.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

Basic Liability Coverage, which is included in the rate, is, in relation to death or bodily injury, $1,000,000 TTD (approximately $145,000 USD) for any one claim by any one person up to $2,000,000 TTD (approximately $290,000 USD) for total - claims arising from any one incident, and, in relation to third party property damage, $500,000 TTD (approximately $70,000 USD) for any one claim from any one person up to $1,000,000 TTD (approximately $145,000 USD) for total claims arising from any one accident.

Delivery/Collection is available at a cost of $10.00 within the 30 miles during general hours

 

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges may  apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.

Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. You can purchase optional CDW-TP for an additional cost. If you purchase CDW-TP, we agree, subject to the actions listed in the rental agreement that invalidate CDW-TP, to contractually waive its liability for part of the cost for damage, theft and the loss of the vehicle after a deductible. A deductible of up to 2,000.00 USD will apply, depending on the size vehicle.

If CDW-TP is declined, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.
 

Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Deductible Protection (DP), and Third Party Liability (TPL) at a discounted price. Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is not insurance.  The purchase of EPP is optional and not required.  If you purchase EPP, we agree, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement, to contractually waive your responsibility for (i) the cost of damage, theft and loss of the vehicle, and (ii) damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits of $7,000,000 TTD (approximately $1,035,000 USD) for any one claim by any one person for death or bodily injury and for any one claim by any one person for property damage arising from an accident. No deductible applies.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas.  Pre-paid gas is available at 5% less than the local fuel prices.

Option 2- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas used but not replace. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.

Option 3- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented at the time of rental. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by the renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.

An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 500.00 USD plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges. During Peak Seasons a deposit amount of 1,000.00  USD plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of the rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.
Only VISA Debit and or Check cards are accepted at this location. Debit and or check cards are considered to be any non-credit card.
Cash is not accepted at this location.

Roadside Plus (RSP) - If selected and paid for at the time of rental, Owner offers Roadside Plus, which provides 24/7 roadside assistance without additional charge.

RSP includes replacement of lost keys (including remote entry devices), towing (not related to an accident), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). jumpstarts, and fuel delivery service (limited supply to help reach nearest gas station). Tire damaged beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

All drivers must meet the location's minimum age requirements.

Renters must present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.

All drivers must present a valid driver's license from country of origin. In addition to the driver's license, if the characters are not in English or Roman, an International driver's permit is recommended. If the driver's license is in characters other than Roman, an International driver's permit is required or a notarized English translation required.

Local Law in Trindad and Tobago only allows the rental company to rent to individuals with a valid driver's license from the following countries:

If you do not have a valid driver's license from one of the Allowed Countries, you may not rent a vehicle in Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad and Tobago law states that a foreigner, with a valid driver's license from one of the above allowed countries, can drive on a Non-Trinidadian License for 30 days before having to apply for a local license. Drivers from on of the allowed countries may use their license for a period of three (3) months commencing on the date of arrival into Trinidad and Tobago. After three (3) months, the driver will need to apply for an extension of their foreign license at any local license office located in Trinidad and Tobago.

At Airport locations: The renter and any additional drivers (including spouse or domestic partner) must be present and have a valid driver's license and must qualify to rent a vehicle. The renter and any additional drivers must have current boarding pass and show immigration stamp. All drivers must complete and submit the Customer Qualification Form stating where you will be staying and two (2) contact numbers.

At Non-Airport locations: The renter and any additional drivers (including spouse or domestic partner) must be present and must have a valid driver's license and must qualify to rent a vehicle. All renters and additional drivers must fill out the Customer Qualification Form and provide verification of current local home address using one of the following in the renter's name: home utility bill, home telephone bill, contracted cell phone bill, or current month's mortgage statement with no past due balances. An apartment or condo lease is not acceptable. All paperwork must be originals and not photocopies. Approval/Non approval feedback will be provided on Customer Qualification form within 24 hours of submission.

Third Party Liability (TPL) The purchase of TPL is optional and not required. This protection is over and above the Basic Liability Coverage included in Time and Mileage rate. Customer's who purchase TPL obtain additional coverage for damages and injuries to third parties up to the policy limit of $7,000,000 TTD (approximately $1,035,000 USD) each for death or bodily injury and for property damage arising from an accident.
