The rental desk is located in the Car Rental Centre. Exit the main terminal building and turn left. After 200 meters you will arrive at the Car Rental Centre. The rental desk is located on the righthand side of the main hall. If you request assistance call +370 61600141.

Rental Policies

Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. Additional charges will apply.

Delivery and Collection fees will apply. Deliveries and Collections are available to Kaunas City Center Hotels, Kaunas Old Town, Kaunas Bus Station during the operating hours of the location. Out of hours deliveries and/or collections are available on request only and require prior conformation from the rental branch. For delivery and collection 10km and more outside the city limits, an additional charge per km is applicable.

All renters and additional drivers must be 19 years or older. For drivers under 25 years of age, a young driver fee is applicable. Only renters aged 21 or older can rent the Luxury Van vehicle group. The maximum age is 75.

Vehicles can be driven in Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Poland. A surcharge will apply for all cross border travels which varies by country. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization. Driving the vehicle into any unauthorized country or returning the vehicle in another country without prior authorization, will require the customer to pay for all recovery expenses.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the liability the renter is responsible for in the event of damage to and/or theft of the vehicle. If Collision Damage Waiver is included in the reservation, the excess amounts applicable are EUR 600.00 for car classes Mini, Economy, Compact and Intermediate; EUR 900.00 for car classes Standard, SUV and Premium and EUR 1250.00 for Passenger Vans. If Collision Damage Waiver is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase. Before purchasing CDW, it is advised to determine if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance.

Partial Collision Damage Waiver (PCDW) is an optional coverage that reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess (see Damage Waiver terms) to EUR 300.00 for car classes Mini, Economy, Compact and Intermediate; EUR 450.00 for Standard, SUV and Premium; to EUR 600.00 for Passenger Vans. PCDW does not include ‘Tires and Windshield Protection’. Before purchasing PCDW, it is advised to determine if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If PCDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay any applicable Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. Damage Waiver must be accepted to be able to purchase this coverage. PCDW is not insurance.

All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as pick-up will be subject to a one-way fee. Domestic and international one-way rentals are permitted to selected locations and must be pre-booked or authorized at the time of pick-up. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route and car category.

Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel the renter will be charged a refueling service charge based upon the fuel used. The refueling charge is 2.80 EUR per litre. The renter may choose to prepay for the refueling service charge at the time of vehicle collection. Pre-pay prices may vary and are aligned with the current local fuel prices.

Forms of Payment:

Visa and Mastercard credit cards as well as Debit cards are accepted. Cash payments are not accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental.

For the car categories Mini to Intermediate a deposit of 200.00 EUR is required. Passenger Vans, SUVs, Standard, Fullsize and Premiums require a deposit of 500.00 EUR.

 

Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) is an optional 24-hour emergency service including provision of a replacement vehicle in case of lost vehicle key, shipping of the key, on-site assistance in case of tire breakdowns, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside, jump-start assistance. The renter pays a flat-rate fee that covers all roadside assistance services. Before purchasing RAP, it is advised to determine if a personal coverage is adequate to cover these charges. If RAP is declined, the renter will be required to pay any applicable charges and seek compensation from the carrier of personal coverage. RAP is void and of no effect if at the time of the incident necessitating Roadside Assistance the renter or authorized drivers are in violation of the rental agreement.
Dependent on the circumstances, we reserve the right to not replace the vehicle and pass on specific repair/callout charges to the customer. RAP is not insurance.
 

All renters and additional drivers must produce a valid driving license at the time of rental. In addition to a valid driving license, the primary renter must also produce additional photo identification in the form ID card or passport and a major credit card in his or her own name. Multiple-part driving license holders must produce all parts of their license. An international driving permit is required for anyone holding a non-European driving license. Additional ID or further identification checks may be requested if deemed necessary. This may include an identity check with external partners who may check details supplied against databases to which they have access. In this case, additional charges may apply.

Supplementary Liability Protection SLP - Third Party Liability is included in the rate and provides cover up to Euro 5 000 000 EUR for bodily Injury and-or death to third parties, and up to 1 000 000 EUR for damage to third party property.

To rent a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the United States and Canada, you will need the following:

  • To be 25 years old 
  • A valid driver's license with a photo
  • A photo ID (For example: a driver’s license or passport)
  • Credit or debit card (check the acceptable forms of payment at the location you’re renting from)

Some locations may require additional information, including but not limited to: 

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP): If the license is written in a language or characters different to those of the country of rental, an IDP is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
  • Return travel and accommodation information: Visitors to the UK must also provide proof of return travel and accommodation information while in the UK. 

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Fuel Policy at Non-Airport locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.

Fuel Policy at Airport Car Rental Locations:

  • You may refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level you received when you picked up the vehicle, or if you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local Enterprise rate which is typically above the local pump price. An additional refueling charge may apply at some locations.
  • You may opt to pre-pay for fuel -- Pre-pay gives you two conveniences:
    • You can avoid the hassle of having to fuel up the vehicle before returning.
    • Pre-pay fuel option is calculated at the local rate of gas minus a per gallon discount.

Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon and is not refundable. Local fuel rates will vary by the area you are renting a vehicle.
