Enterprise has rented to millions of insurance customers over the years, and the question of “who pays” comes up often. Most insurance companies sell a rental reimbursement product that covers the cost of renting a car after an accident. Ask your agent if your policy includes this coverage.
Even if your policy doesn’t cover a rental car during repair, Enterprise still offers low rates.
They will guide you through the process. Ask them for help with arranging an Enterprise rental car during your repairs.
If your vehicle is safe to drive, the insurance company may ask you to schedule the rental to be picked up on the same day as repairs will begin.
Enterprise can meet you there - or we can pick you up from your home or work. See our checklist to be sure you’re prepared that day.
When an insurance company is paying for the rental, they communicate with the shop and Enterprise throughout the repair to extend the rental authorization during repair time.
When your vehicle is complete, return the rental and Enterprise can give you a ride to the body shop. Any billing will be finalized with the insurance company.
